For some reason I had considered it a fun idea to go and play on a patch of diesel (NOT) and come off my precious Hornet.

This happened the early hours of April Fools day and no.... I'm not kidding.

I was approaching a roundabout and going straight on, it is quite a large roundabout so speed is no antic. I was traveling at 40-50mph, a safe speed for this roundabout, and before I knew it the rear wheel slides out to the left, I attempt to control this by steering into the slide and once the rear wheel achieve grip the bike and I high-sided and I was thrown at least 10 meters from the bike, all I could hear was the scraping of metal. My petrol tank.

Below are the pictures of the damage.

DAMN IT!

GRRRRRR!

Glad it wasn't my foot.

The left bar is bent a bit so will be replaced with Renthals.

At least the arent smashed, the clocks cost a fortune new.

Makes me cringe. Notice the sidestand, mangled along with a broken off footpeg.

Very sad looking.

And again.
